Originally played by Pete's band 'Archimedes' in 1970, Pete has recorded this song, and created the video, along with Nikki, using 'Green Screen' technology for the first time.
This original song was first played in the early Sixties at a show for The ABC Boys Club in Stevenage. In the meantime, in 1969, Pete wrote a song called 'Sal Blues', which, amazingly, became the forerunner of this song!

THE MAKING OF 'THE FAMILY ALBUM'
It has been Pete's dream for some time now to record an album of all the songs he wrote for the two MOTF bands in the Sixties, 'Oak Tree Inernational' nd 'Archimedes'. Now it could become a reality if we can get enough people involved to play instruments, sing backing tracks, lend the use of a recording studio, or even sponsor the project.
Pete is now 77 years old, and wants his grandchildren and great-grandchildren to hear the music as it was originally played and sung.
Take a look and have a listen.

TALES OF WIDGERIPOO
Pete spent three years animating this cartoon film based on his books of the same name. Back in 2001, Bob Godfrey, of 'Roobarb & Custard' fame, expressed an interest in producing a series of films for TV. Unfortunately, they couldn't raise the funding necessary. You never know, it might happen yet, - in fact, Pete and Rich Smyth are working on a web-based series at the moment... WATCH THIS SPACE!

A CASE OF A TRAVELLING SALESMAN
One from the archives, this film was originally made in 9.5mm by FILMART STUDIOS in 1954, - the company founded by Pete, Derek Soall and Cyril Smith in Walthamstow, where the film was shot.
The salesman was played by WILLIAM HARTNELL. Watch out for 17-year old Pete, who also wrote the story, as a workman who gets soaked after asking William for a light!
