Pete worked for Walthamstow Carnival in the early Sixties, producing cartoons for the official programmes, and also producing and compering shows at Lloyd Park Pavilion...

This is the programme for his first Carnival Show, 'Whirligig' in 1962

Pete's cousin CAROL DILWORTH (now Hawkes) appeared in his second Carnival show...

 

Pete liked to include his family in his shows, and here are Pete's cousin, Jeannie Kay, his sisters Pat and Eileen, and his sisters' friend, Mary in-between them. all doing The Can-Can, choreographed by Pete and his friend Lyn Phillips of The Lyn Marie Stage School.
