SNOW, SNOW, THICK THICK SNOW!

Here's some chilly photographs from KAREN LEATHERBARROW, of her cottage in The South of France. (see pictures above and left)

Who said it's always sunny there?

Mind you, they let it out in the Summer, so anyone interested, contact Pete & Nikki at pete@widgeripoo.net

Meanwhile back in Stevenage, FRANK SWAINE sent us this amazing picture of a snow dragon (below)...

MORE PICTURES FROM FRANK STILL TO COME....

MORE HUMOROUS PHOTOS...

There has been a tradition on this page for our users to submit humorous photographs, like the one below of wierd creatures on potatoes, sent in by Betty Card, - so here's the latest batch...

First off is one from RIKKY JOY, who had his car cleaned at the new NHS car cleaning service (see picture on the left) at Lister Hospital, Stevenage - as you can see, they obviously take car cleaning as seriously as they do cleaning the wards......

Next up, on the right, is a picture from our editors PETE & NIKKI, who spotted this sign, not, as you may think, in an ultra-luxurious public toilet, - but in the launderette at The Oval, Stevenage.

It actually refers to the clothes dryer on the bottom, as opposed to a dryer for people's bottoms!

If you have any funny pictures,- don't keep them to yourselves, - send them in to us by email at pete@widgeripoo.net.

BEWARE OF THESE WIERD CREATURES!

Following on from STIGNEY STAMMERS' Photograph of the Big Bouncing Bird (which Ernie Almond has dubbed the KANGAGOOSE!) Pete's Cousin BETTY CARD sent us this photograph, pictured left,  of potatoes, apparently with wierd creatures crawling over them...

This what she told us...

'WARNING! If you leave your bag of new potatoes too long in your cupboard, It attracts little creatures like these . HA HA HA'

Betty Card,

Potters Bar, Herts

SPRING ISN'T FAR BEHIND...

After all the snow, we finally get some lovely positive pictures, taken in soft spring sunshine...

These beautiful pictures were taken by CORINNE ENGLAND - Nikki's cousin, in Nikki Nook, (coincidentally!) Grizedale Forest, Garstang, Near Preston, Lancashire, using only her phone camera...

... it just goes to show what can be achieved using modern technology and an eye for beauty.

MORE SNOW FIGURES

Just like last year, our snowman photo competition has, - well, - SNOWBALLED! So here are some more cold piccies...

First off, here's one from Beth, Kyle and Felicite Joy...

... It seems to be falling over (too much Sherry Maybe?)

Top left is from Sarah Stanbridge of her Nephew Alfie and his snowman, whislt the one on the right is an icicle outside the Widgeripoo Office...

SNOW JOKE!

Every year about this time, Deb sets a challenge for who can make the funniest snowman/Snow creature, - so here's the first crop of this year's entries...

Deb herself sets the scene with this very funny SNOW CAT on the left,  (although Nikki reckons it looks more like a snow SQUIRREL!)

Then, below (left), is a rather rude snow sculpture from RIKKY JOY - which he added to his car.

The less said about that the better maybe?

Finally, a rather cute SNOW PIXIE (bottom right) from our old friend ALLEY EINSTIEN, which she made especially for her granddaughter...

Autumn Tints and A Double Rainbow

Our Editors Pete & Nikki were out and about recently into the streets of Stevenage to get these stunning shots..

Above: Autumn tints along the roads of Stevenage, - or colours of The fall for our American Friends!

Above: A Double Rainbow in Pete & Nikki's Street, and sunset in Stevenage.

Remember, click on the bottom R/H corner of any picture to enlarge.

If you have any stunning pics, please send them to us!

Stunning photo of The Milky Way taken from Mars...

Here (on the left) is a stunning photograph, sent in by our old friend, film maker RICH SMYTH, of a view of THE MILKY WAY FROM MARS...

We thought you'd like that!
