SHOW THE CHILDREN WE CARE
The title song to a charity compilation album of the same name, the whole song came to Pete Perry in a dream. He got together some local musicians, Lucy-Sian & Mandy Clark, and Steve Charles, called them 'Switchboard Incorporated' after the music mag he was publishing at the time, took them along to Bubbles Recording Studios in Letchworth, where he and John Culpin produced this song. Pete and Ray Cordell can be heard singing Frère Jacques at the end of the record, in schoolboy voices! It is Pete's daughter Deborah's favourite song.
